What makes sushi sushi? Most people think it’s all about the fish, but it’s actually all about the rice! Sushi rice is cooked rice that is seasoned specially with rice vinegar and sugar. The seasoning gives the rice a special sweet/sour flavor! Teen center members had the opportunity to learn about sushi and watch an in-person demo on how a sushi roll is made. Afterward everyone got to taste some delicious expert-made rolls!
